Hello everyone and welcome to tammydee.com! I was born and raised in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada and have been performing since the age of five. I have been blessed with a very exciting life in the "Show Biz" industry. For as long as I can remember performing has been my one and only dream. It's been four years now since I was introduced into the "cowboy" circuit and this is where I am focusing most of my performing energy. I sang Top 40 country music for 7 years, but it wasn't until I switched to cowboy/western music or (folk/roots to some) and started playing and singing what was in my heart, that I realized how much of a connection I truly share with my audience.
Cowboy music is so much more than words put to a nice melody, it's about the cowboy spirit and western way of life. As a fifth generation Albertan, I feel it's important to keep Canada's cowboy culture as well as the cowboy's place in history alive. I'm doing my part by keeping cowboy music alive. Every time I perform I see people, young and old, laughing, clapping and singing along. I watch the young learning and listening and see older ones remembering their youth and at times I have witnessed an old cowboy wipe away a tear in remembrance.
Some opportunities I have been blessed with are:
