Here's a cowgirl's prayer
to the big Cowboy upstairs
That he'll grant me peace in my heart
To keep evil away, let goodness stay
allowing me to do my part
For I am like a small
seed in God's prairie
Where the soil is rich in His ways
And the shining sun is made of His love
Nurturing me with it's rays
It's here that I'll grow
through rain or snow
In whatever life may bring
And it's here that I'll rest upon my death
'Til I hear those angels sing
And on that day, that
glorious day
With my joy that overflows
I'll celebrate and I will praise
Because at last I will be home
